Successful business ventures are an outcome of the opportunities harnessed, trustworthy partnerships and understanding the investment interests of the stakeholders. An important role of the Chamber here has been to bridge the gaps between these important components of doing business. With a mix of fireside chats, keynote speakers and more, ICBC is hosting its 8th Annual National Convention 2018 on 27th November, 2018 at Hotel Hyatt Regency in New Delhi to showcase business opportunities to more than 300 business professionals from across India and Canada.
This year the theme of the Convention revolves around Investing in India – Opportunities and Challenges, Partnerships – Establishing and Sustaining them; Indian Industry – the Next Gen and their perspective of doing business with Canada.
The Convention is organized in collaboration with the High Commission of Canada and Invest India. A large number of delegates from the industry, senior officials of Central and State Governments, senior industrialists, policy makers, thought Leaders, etc. are expected to attend the Convention.
Amongst other supporting partners are the Provinces of Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta as well as the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab and the delegates from the neighboring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The Convention deliberations will be on the following themes:
- Investing in India
- Role of Partnerships in presenting business opportunities and addressing challenges and issues using pragmatic and innovative solutions
- Artificial Intelligence and its evolving role in business
